Chandler's Zen

I have been playing with Google Analytics over the past few days to try and understand better who actual access to my web sites are happening.

Although it is an awesome tool - and you can get some interesting information, I have struggled in a couple of areas to understand things.

I jot them down here so that pehaps other new people can pick up on them

It has taken me a few weeks to get there, but I have now virtually completed the re-vamp of my web site.  My old site was made of pages that I had hand coded myself - this time I have decided to use the drupal content management system to provide the framework for the content.  This allows me more time to spend writing new articles, and less time coding up the content.

As I noted in my previous article, Melinda Doolittle released My Funny Valentine today. I have now bought and downloaded this track and I must say its fantastic.

Building on the already unique arrangement of this song that Melinda performed on American idol, this new version adds a second section of up-tempo beat to make a completely different version from anything anyone has ever done in the past with this song.

Melinda has gone back to the studio to produce a new version of My Funny Valentine, available on iTunes from the 12th February 2008

It was in the summer that we at Melinda's Backups first came up with the idea of a party for the backups to attend and get to meet each other for the first time. As fans of Melinda Doolittle we had only talked on the internet, following our favourite artist, but never meeting.
